Bake Sale Update: The Youth Alaska Mission Trip Bake Sale & Baked Potato Bar was a wonderful intergenerational event with the Missions Committee. The total brought in was $1,560. Thank you to everyone who bought a potato and baked goods. We appreciate your support of youth in missions. Thank you to Mark Smith for help with set-up and to Sandra Rak and Dori Murphy for their help during the bake sale and cleanup. Our youth worked hard all morning, but stopped to enjoy worship on the big screens in the Celebration Room. This is a tight-knit group who is looking forward to the mission work ahead in Alaska. Did you know we have four families with more than one sibling going on the mission trip? One family has all 4 siblings going. This is such a great opportunity for spiritual growth for all our youth and adults going to Alaska.

Any donation is welcome. You can find Ruth Smith, Director of Youth Discipleship, on a Sunday at church or leave your donation at the front desk. We will then decorate a husky for you for our sled race to Alaska. Thank you all for your continued support of Youth in Missions. We love and appreciate you.

We’re Having a Blast at Youth Group!
  • Youth game night this week was literally a blast as youth played games using the balloons from Youth Sunday. Walking tacos were on the menu with cookie decorating, valentines bingo with prizes, and a devotion on love. It was a great night of fellowship and fun.
  • Our 2018 Confirmation Class is off to a great start. Each confirmand has an adult mentor in the church who will attend each class with them and guide them along the way. They meet every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the Hearth Room. Our teachers are Bruce Woner and Pat Reeder.

You can see pictures of all of our recent events in our Youth Group 2018 photo album.
