Thank you for all of the questions and comments that you have sent this week in response to the update emails we have sent. Again, if you have any further questions or comments, please let me know!

Coming up on Sunday, we are continuing our first of the year sermon series, "New Year, New Goals." Last week we began by discussing the new mission statement for the United Methodist Church, and working through what it means to Love Boldly. This week, we turn our attention to Serving Joyfully. In 1 Peter 4:10,11 we read,

10 Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received. 11 Whoever speaks must do so as one speaking the very words of God; whoever serves must do so with the strength that God supplies, so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ. To him belong the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Jesus' ministry is one of service to so many. How can we be more like Jesus? How about serving with joy! On Sunday, we will study the scriptures together, as we inspire one another to serve joyfully!
