3rd Grade Bible Presentation and Celebration

Receiving a Bible in third grade is an important milestone at Topeka First United Methodist Church and in the life of a young person. The third graders of our church will receive their Bibles on Sunday, March 25th, which is Palm Sunday. We will have one combined worship service at 10 a.m. that day
and felt this was an ideal time for the church family to recognize and celebrate this important step in these student’s faith journey.
We will follow the worship service with a time of fellowship and food for families and the students. At around 12 p.m., parents will be free to go, while the third-grade students participate in a Bible Celebration. Volunteers will work with students to learn more about their Bibles and how to use them for their daily journeys with God. At 2 p.m. we will travel by caravan to go bowling. Contact Allison Brewer, Director of Children’s Discipleship, for more details about the day. Please sign up for the Third Grade Bibles Presentation with Celebration and Lunch on our Church Connection Portal.
