During this holiday season, we will be reminded of the reasons that we celebrate Christmas through what we call Advent. Advent is the period of time before Christmas when we anxiously await the birth of Jesus which we understand as having happened, still happening, and to happen again. Through the Advent Invitations, we will be offered ways to live differently in the busy times of Christmas.
