Senior Adult Ministry

“The righteous man shall flourish like the palm tree; he will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green.” Psalm 92:12-14

S.A.M. (Senior Adult Ministry) is an active and enthusiastic group of adults aged 70+ seeking to meet the spiritual, emotional, and social needs of senior adults in the Topeka First United Methodist Church family. S.A.M. embraces fellowship, encouragement, compassion, outreach and spiritual growth. We invite you to come and be a part of this vital ministry. See the other side of this card for opportunities to Connect, Grow, and Serve with other seniors.

Our church is also a sponsoring congregation of Shepherd’s Center, a senior adult ministry educational and fellowship program.
